RemBind is pleased to highlight a newly published peer-reviewed paper in the Journal of Hazardous Materials, demonstrating the successful field application of in-situ soil stabilisation (ISS) for PFAS-contaminated land.
The study evaluated RemBind® 100X at the Cavalier Space Force Station in North Dakota, where it was applied at 3% by dry weight across a 100 x 100-foot area.
Over a 19-month monitoring period, results showed a consistent >95% reduction in PFAS leachate concentrations.
Importantly, the study confirmed that soil functionality was maintained, with rainfall infiltration continuing post-treatment.
This confirms RemBind® as a cost-effective, scalable, and sustainable solution for long-term PFAS remediation.
