Stabilization and Solidification Remediation of Soil Contaminated with PFASs

SUMMARY
This study was totally independent and performed by a world class research group at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
7 sorbents were evaluated for their ability to reduce the leachability of PFAS in soils with co-addition of Portland cement.
RemBind® was the top performer out of the 7 additives tested – it was at least 1 magnitude better in terms of strength of binding to PFASs (Partitioning Coefficient kd) than the other sorbents tested.
The RemBind® and Portland cement treated soils passed the European and USEPA performance guideline criteria for Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) testing.
