Surface water is often the fastest migration pathway on a site. A single storm event can move contaminated runoff well beyond a site boundary, and once it has gone, it cannot be recalled.
PFAS in stormwater, drainage lines and site runoff migrates off-site by flow long before a containment response can be mobilised. Traditional controls are often too slow, too costly, or unsuited to a drainage line that cannot be shut down. Left unmanaged, that pathway creates discharge non-compliance, downstream liability and reputational risk.
RemBind® treats surface water in place, immobilising PFAS as it flows and before it leaves the site. Treatment happens within the channel itself, without power, excavation or engineering works, and without interrupting site operations.
The RemBind® Containment Barriers (RCBs) are passive barriers laid perpendicular to flow, treating water as it passes through. PFAS is immobilised by RemBind® Sorbents held within replaceable cells, and barriers are deployed in series so water is treated progressively along the channel.
Available in 500 mm, 1 m and 2 m formats, plus a 1 m³ bulk bag for gabion and high-flow deployments.
